Recently, our students had the unique opportunity to learn from Heidi Bivens, the talented Costume Designer behind the hit series Euphoria.
In a special workshop organized for our Undergraduate in Fashion Styling students, Heidi shared her secrets to success, offering invaluable insights into the world of costume design for television.
The workshop took place in photo lab of the Manifattura Tabacchi campus. This environment, designed to mirror the professional world, allowed our students to experience firsthand what it takes to climb the ladder in the competitive realm of fashion styling.
Under the expert supervision of stylist and teacher Brais Vilasó, students were pushed beyond their creative boundaries. They faced an exciting challenge: to create standout looks for selected actors during a video shoot session. This hands-on experience provided a practical understanding of the stylist’s role, bridging the gap between the classroom and the real world of fashion.
The actors who participated in the session were Aurora Gamberini, Francesca Valeri, Edoardo Pagliai, Chiara Di Guardo, Margherita Belloni, Jacopo Garfagnoli, Michele Valerio Legrottaglie, Michael Vieri Mkondya, Jodi Bhachu-Smith, Marianna Pafitis, Nguyen Minh Ha, and Tia-Rose Pezzani. The casting was meticulously done by Josefa Asteg, further adding to the authenticity of the experience.
