Leading Teacher, Department of Design
Native of Prato and a Polimoda alumna, her cross-the-board skills, ranging from Cool hunting to Textile design, create a bridge between the cultural heritage of Europe’s largest textile district, renowned for sustainability, craftsmanship and innovation, and educational expertise in research, garment design and developing. She drives the intersection of raw materials and form via a dual soul that is both technical and creative, transforming conceptual ideas into a concrete, tailored reality.
With a 360-degree experience across all key-roles, she has worked for nearly three decades over the entire industrial pipeline. Her comprehensive background gives her a deep understanding of manufacturing chain dynamics, allowing her to be able to direct and collaborate seamlessly with every department, and lead textile product development with a global vision and deeply practical attitude, from fiber to launch.
Since 2018, she has been part of the faculty at Polimoda, as Draping Lecturer for Undergraduate in Fashion Design and Master in Collection Design. Currently she is Leading Teacher for Undergraduate in Atelier Design, Project Leader for 1st year of Undergraduate in Atelier Design, Fluid Draping Lecturer for the 2nd year of Undergraduate in Atelier Design, Draping lecturer for 2nd year of Undergraduate in Fashion Design and 3rd year of Undergraduate in Fashion Design Management.
