In Unwritten Bonds, students take hold of the narrative, curating an editorial in all aspects, giving shape and voice to their own stories.
Students from the Master in Fashion Art Direction in partnership with Vogue Italia curate an editorial about fashion and identity that champions the school’s queer community.
Taking place within the ornate spaces of Villa Favard, home to Polimoda’s Villa Campus, the casting for the photoshoot featured students from the school’s queer community, while the art direction, content creation, production and casting, set design and location, styling and garments was also organized and worked on by students.

Every image is a declaration, transforming visibility into a political act, centering queer culture as a living and necessary narration that has historically shaped and directed fashion, and will continue to do so for years to come.Â
The editorial Unwritten Bonds by Master in Fashion Art Direction students will be published in the June 2025 edition of Vogue Italia.
