Course
The Master in International Fashion Business in collaboration with the United Nations Conscious Fashion and Lifestyle Network instills the knowledge of social entrepreneurship applied to upcoming markets and consumer innovations and engagements. Optimizing the market where it exists, creating one where it doesn’t and focusing on data and trend analysis to enhance the future. The program instills the knowledge of entrepreneurial, strategic, data-driven skills applied to innovative business models perfectly balancing creativity and rationality when pitching ideas and numbers.
The program demonstrates how the fashion industry engages with the international community to keep the promise of the Sustainable Development Goals and teaches students how innovative fashion leaders impact the evolution of the industry by placing sustainability, climate and inclusion in the center of their business. Students will learn how to handle different fashion businesses, such as running a start-up or an overseas expansion of a finance driven label to better understand financial and legal aspects as well as growth. The ultimate objective is to create enterprises that contribute to the world rather than take from it.
Lessons are organized with teachers from the industry as well as guest lectures and workshops with outstanding professionals from the fashion system who will be invited to talk, inspire and empower our students.
This unique and hands-on learning experience includes field trips, a midterm and a mandatory final project that amount to a total of 700 contact hours and the overall obtainment of 80 credits.
The course can be completed with an internship at both fashion & lifestyle companies and startups.
