Rendez-Vous with Vassilis Karidis

On Tuesday, December 10th, Editor-in-Chief of Dapper Dan Magazine and photographer Vassilis Karidis will sit down for an eclectic Q&A with Gianluca Cantaro, Editor-in-Chief of NowFashion, psyched to talk openly and honestly about the nitty-gritty editorial world and the fluctuating future of print media during the last Polimoda Rendez-Vous of 2019.

Based between Athens and London, Vassilis Karidis is a man of many talents. He started his career as a freelance photographer in the late 90s after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography. After graduation, Vassilis quickly rose to the top, shooting for L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue Greece, Fantastic Man, Tank Magazine and more. The cross-disciplinary creative spent 12 solid years following his creative path before pursuing a new avenue.

Dedicated to men’s fashion and philosophy, Dapper Dan Magazine came to life in 2010. Guided by the editorial magic of Karidis, the photographer turned Editor-in-Chief meticulously founded and developed one of the leading international men’s fashion titles. From collaborating with the biggest models and creative agencies in the world to brainstorming and publishing beautiful photographic productions, Dapper Dan Magazine is up there with the best of them. And if that isn’t enough, Karidis also founded UK company Sad Bats Publishing LTD in 2013.

We’ll see you in Aula Magna for a Polimoda Rendez-Vous featuring two editorial minds driven by passion and purpose.
