On Friday, September 13th, Polimoda welcomes Sarah Rotheram, CEO of Miller Harris, for an illuminating dialogue on the storytelling of fragrances, exploring the company’s creative and hedonistic approach through the years and the current identity of Miller Harris.

Chief Executive Officer by day and mother by night, Sarah Rotheram is the detail-driven mastermind behind luxury fragrance house Miller Harris. After studying Fashion Textiles at University of England, Rotheram packed her suitcase and moved to England to begin her career in the retail sector, working for luxury bath & body brand Molton Brown. During her seven-year tenure, the visionary was responsible for the brand’s expansion in numerous overseas territories.

In 2007, she joined Penhaligon’s as General Manager, restoring and protecting the legacy of the creative perfumery. One year later, Rotheram was promoted to CEO of Cradle Group, sister brand of Parisian perfume house L’Artisan Parfumeur and American skincare brand Erno Laszlo. From record-breaking sales to new launches, Rotheram introduced new customers to the brand. She then became the new CEO of luxury British brand Aspinal of London in 2014. She fuelled the company with her fresh approach to the consumer journey.

It seemed only natural for the fragrance storyteller to step into her current role as CEO of British luxury fragrance house Miller Harris, infusing personality into the brand with reveries of a contemporary urban London.
