Massimiliano Giornetti will be in New York during the city’s fashion week for two important interventions.
On 14 September, at UN Headquarters, Giornetti is part of the panel of the multi-speaker event United Nations: Future of Fashion: Transcending Trends and Tailoring Tomorrow. Hosted by the United Nations Fashion and Lifestyle Network, partner of the Master in Sustainable Fashion Systems, Strategy & Finance, this is an opportunity to dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals and explore the role of creativity, education, and collaboration in driving a more sustainable and innovative industry with leaders in fashion education, media, and the industry.
On the same day, Giornetti goes to Syracuse University, as keynote speaker in the lecture and roundtable discussion, NYC: Syracuse Architecture and Polimoda Storefront Window Symposium with guests, Jing Liu, Founding Partner of architecture studio So-il; Pablo Sequero and Laura Salazar, Partners, salazarsequeromedin; and Paula Vilaplana de Miguel, Assistant Curator, MoM.A, with remarks by Syracuse Dean of Architecture, Michael A. Speaks.
