Love as resistance: Fashion Styling students interpret Marco Rambaldi's FW24 collection

When tasked with interpreting Marco Rambaldi’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, Undergraduate in Fashion Styling students at Polimoda embraced a powerful theme: Memento Amori, a reminder to love.

The Milan-based designer’s latest work masterfully merges 1970s Italian bourgeois aesthetics with contemporary sensibilities. Marco Rambaldi’s distinct creative vision bridges generational gaps, delivering a fresh perspective that’s simultaneously colorful, emotional, and deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship.

Working in collaborative teams, students developed original concepts and produced studio photoshoots aimed at capturing the collection’s essence for Marco Rambaldi’s social media platforms. Their challenge: to translate the designer’s complex narrative into compelling visual content that resonates with today’s digital audience.

For FW24, Marco Rambaldi explores modern alienation through timeless design. In an era of perpetual chaos and emotional disconnect, the collection strips away social constructs to reveal an essential truth: love endures. Each piece transcends temporal boundaries, encouraging liberation from convention and a return to authentic self-expression.
