2021 keeps getting better. Polimoda has just been featured in Forbes as one of the top fashion colleges in the world because of its internationality, proximity to the fashion industry and latest academic project with Spotify.
Polimoda has been positively looking towards the future, focusing on new beginnings by creating opportunities and making space for a brilliant new generation of young designers and fashion talents. From launching the Human Poetics fashion show during Milano Fashion Week Women’s Collection to opening a brand new Spotify profile with playlists curated by our students and podcasts featuring some of the greatest minds in the industry as well as the latest Talents X Talents project, 2021 has been a year of positive and much-needed change for our community.Â
As we prepare for the upcoming final graduation show, we are thrilled to share that Polimoda—the only Italian institution featured in the list— has been named one of Forbes’ top colleges shaping the future of fashion. Award-winning American journalist Stephan Rabimov chose our institution for its proximity to the industry, networking possibilities, international student body and latest project with Spotify.Â
“Studying next door to the industry’s most influential business expo – ciao, Pitti Immagine – can do wonders for your future career networking,” explains Rabimov. “With the student body of 75 nationalities, it’s as if the coolest study abroad program came to you. Beyond fashion design, Polimoda’s strategic relationship with Spotify makes it one of the most active academic institutions on the platform with exclusive playlists and podcasts. Get your minds and hearts ready for dolce vita!”
Congratulations to all of the other colleges who made the list and don’t forget to watch this space for exciting news about our upcoming fashion show that we cannot wait to share!
