The first edition of the Milano Finanza Supply Chain Awards was a night to remember for Polimoda. Dedicated to the most innovative and dynamic companies in the Italian Fashion System supply chain, our school was recognized during the 18th edition of Milano Fashion Global Summit 2019 by a jury of jaw-dropping experts.
Out of all of the top fashion institutions in Italy, Polimoda won the Best Education award. This is an important accolade for our school; contributing to the Italian Fashion System by educating young talent and building them up with special opportunities and hands-on learning in the industry has always been top priority. This award certifies the talent and dedication of Polimoda’s tight-knit community of industry leaders, lecturers, partners, mentors and advisors.
Director Danilo Venturi was honored to accept the prize on the IBM Fashion studios stage, selected by a jury of experts composed of Fulvia Bacchi, Lineapelle and UNIC concerie italiane General Director; Carlo Capasa, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana President; Raffaello Napoleone, Pitti Immagine President; Paolo Panerai, Class Editori CEO and Editor-in-Chief; Giulia Pessani, The Gentleman Director; Stefano Roncato, MF Fashion Director and Flavio Sciuccati, The European House – Ambrosetti partner.
“It is always a pleasure to see the work that our team has been doing for years is being recognized by important companies such as the National Chamber of Italian Fashion as well as many other experts in our sector. This confirms our contribution to the national and international fashion system, but above all to the creation of a better future for young people. Polimoda was selected for its impressive global growth, staggering international student population of 70% and fierce loyalty to Made-in-Italy.
