Mentor of the Undergraduate in Fashion Business Paolo Cigognini has been named Senior Vice President of Global Communications and Media at Tom Ford, a role he assumed as part of a series of high-level appointments at the luxury fashion house.
Cigognini previously held the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Alexander McQueen, where he successfully led various strategic initiatives. These included overseeing international store launches and steering the company into sustainable practices through partnerships like that with Vestiaire Collective. He will now be applying his wealth of knowledge to Tom Ford, working closely with Rebecca Mason, who has been appointed Senior Vice President of Global Brand Image.
At Tom Ford, Cigognini will be tasked with ensuring that the brand’s communications and image are consistent and unified across all sectors. He will report to Guillaume Jesel, CEO of Tom Ford, and Lelio Gavazza, CEO of Tom Ford Fashion.
Polimoda extends heartfelt congratulations to Paolo Cigognini on this great appointment. His achievement serves as an inspiration to our students of the Undergraduate in Fashion Business and underscores the caliber of mentorship available at Polimoda.
