A new course at Polimoda, Undergraduate in Event Management, beginning in October 2027, confirms its partnership with one of the world’s biggest business and creative industries platforms, SXSW.
The collaboration will take shape in a co-development of the programme’s academic offering, via guest lectures, workshops, project work, in-person and online activities. The partnership signals Polimoda’s entrance into the world of entertainment and will give students the access to skills, language, and methods of one of the world’s most influential creative platforms. Polimoda will also be present at SXSW and SXSW Edu in March 2027.
On 15 September 2026, a webinar is taking place for prospective or interested students with Eva Zimmerman, Supervisor of the Business Department at Polimoda, and Julia Shatilo Senior Director, SXSW EDU Conference & Festival (Austin, Texas). This will be a chance to ask questions on the new course, the partnership, and the status of connection between fashion and entertainment and events today.
