Fashion e-commerce is the practice of selling and buying fashion and apparel online, ensuring a pleasant experience for consumers.Â
The short course in Fashion E-commerce aims to provide students with an understanding of the critical success factors of popular fashion e-commerce websites.
Aside from the critical analysis of an e-commerce site, students will learn about the importance of market research and consumer behavior, acquiring the necessary soft and hard skills, such as distribution management and omnichannel management, to improve fashion e-commerce sites and create strategic advantages for fashion brands. They will also discover the critical success factors and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of successful fashion e-commerce sites.
The program also includes visits to some of the most iconic fashion venues in Florence, such as: Gucci Garden, the museum dedicated to the Italian fashion house with classic clothing and handbag exhibits, and the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, a fashion museum dedicated to the life and work of Italian shoe designer Salvatore Ferragamo and his eponymous company.
