Course
Kindly note: Owing to exceptional demand, we regret to inform you that enrollment for the 2024 Junior Summer Camp is at full capacity. We invite you to visit this page regularly for updates on forthcoming sessions and other opportunities, or to reach out to our Orientation team for further assistance.
The innovative Junior Summer Camp offers a unique opportunity for young people to discover and explore their creative talent and potential through the exciting medium of fashion.
The 2024 program will center on Sensorial Fashion, enabling every participant to unleash their imagination and experience their creative identity connecting with the world of emotions and five senses.
The course will guide students through a three-step process. The first step is focused on research and idea development. Students will draw inspiration from their inner world of emotions and feelings, reflecting the world of senses: music, smells, textures, and much more. Young creatives will learn how to develop their ideas by utilizing the extensive resources available at Polimoda. They will then express their ideas through mood boards, drawings and collages.
The second step involves creating an outfit, composed of a dress, a bag and a shoe design. The young designers will be experimenting with shapes, draping, decoration, and detailing, as well as work with the prepared patterns to make the items. During the work process, participants will have access to all the necessary materials and technical support needed to bring their ideas to life.
Finally, the last step is a fashion show on the last day of the course, during which the students will have the opportunity to showcase their creations.
The program consists of lectures and workshops focused on various aspects of fashion and is taught by experienced teachers and specialized educators with a deep understanding of children’s training courses. Our well-balanced teacher-to-participant ratio ensures that each child receives individual attention and support, enabling us to meet their unique needs throughout the program.
All proceeds from the Camp will be dedicated to supporting charitable causes that help individuals and communities worldwide overcome social barriers and realize their full potential. Our commitment to making a positive impact remains unwavering, and we will ensure that the funds raised will contribute significantly to empowering those in need.
