The Graduate Show 2025 highlights the best work from final-year Fashion Design students, unveiling tomorrow’s visionary talents and embodying the culmination of an intensive developmental journey at Polimoda.
This year’s graduate show collections reflect this generation’s constant connection and symbiosis with the world around them. Identity acts as a fil rouge between all the collections. The students, at the beginning of their professional lives, strive to find a greater sense of self, and realization, through their art form. This occurs through various explorations; a spiritual association of the individual to the whims of nature experienced in extreme sports; colonial history that has shaped and continues to affect contemporary African religion and identity; control and freedom of the self through dystopian 20th century literature; artificial intelligence leading to a study of permanence and fragility of artificial and natural bodies; the evolving role of women in American society; a celebration of Samba music and the cultural space it holds, and much more.
