Fashion Illustration is the art of visually communicating fashion ideas, be it through illustrations, drawings or paintings, and is also known as Fashion sketching. It is mainly used by fashion designers to get their ideas down on paper or in digital format when brainstorming.
The short course in Fashion Illustration enables students to explore their own visual language by developing key fashion illustration skills. They will develop their own personal illustrative style and new graphic design skills, adding expressive new pieces to their portfolio.
Innovative for its focus on nurturing the student’s individual creative and visual language, this course will enable students to hone their own drawing style, use traditional and digital methods to create art and experiment with the creation of original fashion designs which they can use to expand their portfolio.
