Polimoda is celebrating the start of the 2020-2021 academic year by welcoming young creatives back to Florence in an imaginative way.
Countdown to the First Day of School
Students were invited to watch the official back to school countdown projecting the names of new and returning students on Villa Favard's facade. "The start of the academic year is always an important moment, but this year is special," says director Danilo Venturi. "Our students are at the heart of everything we do. We wanted to acknowledge them by personally welcoming each and every student by name."
From welcome days to welcome kits full of Polimoda goodies, students returning this fall semester received their new schedules, learned about updated safety protocols and met with their peers and leading teachers.
Online and In-Person Learning Opportunities
Polimoda continues to offer flexible learning opportunities, accomodating student needs with a variety of both in-person and online learning options —for those who cannot physically return to Florence— to guarantee the same quality of education our fashion school has always believed in. "Technology has assisted us the past few months and continues to do so by allowing us to keep teaching both online and in-person so even the students who are unable to return right now can still learn from home," explains Director Danilo Venturi.
Gamberini Café Pasticceria at Villa Favard and the Design Lab will open shortly.
