This year’s graduate show featured the work of 21 talented young designers, who showcased their years of hard work to over five hundred guests and industry insiders.
With conscious design guiding the production of garb, the Polimoda talents offered collections that presented their raw, fully developed creative identities. Looking back beyond the runway, we remember the quiet moments of preparation, the inspiring details from the collections, and most of all, celebrate the bravery of each of these students in making their official debut in the fashion world.
The event of the year took place on June 12th inside the barren, industrial spaces of the Manifattura Tabacchi, a faithful reflection of the concept of revaluing worthless objects. A musical tartare guided the catwalkers, while harsh, raw lighting illuminated unconventionally beautiful models: from sight to smell, the guiding philosophy of Separate Collection was feverishly diffused in every element of the space.
Conscious of both their impact and social responsibility, these students are now going out into the world of fashion, art, and some, further studies. We applaud your work and wish you all the best of luck!
