Business Links is an annual event dedicated to the meeting of graduating students and companies looking for professionals in the field of fashion. Polimoda invites Human Resource Managers, headhunters and professionals to meet our best talents, a successful formula guaranteeing students the unique opportunity to present themselves and their work, and likewise for companies to select the most promising young professionals to join their ranks.
The 11th edition of the annual event will take place in Florence on March 20th, 21st and 22nd, 2019. Companies and professionals are invited to the Polimoda Design Lab – the school’s creative headquarters located in the heart of the Florentine district – to meet and conduct interviews with candidates of interest.
Business Links will be attended by alumni and Undergraduate or Master students in the areas of Fashion Design, Fashion Business and Design Management due to complete their studies by next June. The participating companies will meet with pre-selected candidates – handpicked to optimize student-company matches – to review resumes and portfolios and identify new talents to be included in their team.
During the individual interviews, each student will have the unique opportunity to present his/herself individually to Human Resource Managers and be selected for internships and work opportunities that complete their course of study. To this end, Business Links also functions as a platform for identifying senior alumni seeking new opportunities, all selected from the Polimoda alumni network.
On Thursday, March 21st, Leonardo Mainardis, Account Executive of Talent Solutions at LinkedIn, is at the Polimoda Design Lab to conduct one-on-one sessions with students and alumni interested in optimizing their online presence and relationship network through the largest community of professionals in the world.
The morning will be dedicated to alumni, who will learn about LinkedIn solutions dedicated to companies and professionals, while the afternoon will be set aside for students interested in enhancing their personal profiles.
