A Research Hub with LINEAPELLE is coming soon

Leather in the heart of made in Italy

The creation of a research laboratory all about leather goods is in the works, and it's right in the heart of Scandicci's Made in Italy industrial district.

It's been a busy few weeks for Polimoda. Following the announcement of the reopening of the design labs, the school is thrilled to announce a signed framework agreement with LINEAPELLE Srl, organizer of the most important fair event in the world dedicated to leather, accessories, components, synthetics and models for footwear, leather goods, garments and furniture, promising the creation of a research laboratory all about leather goods.

This close collaboration with LINEAPELLE highlights the industry need to rethink fashion system models with research, innovation and intergenerational collaboration. What does this mean for Polimoda? At the school's Scandicci campus, there will be a brand new research pole on leather goods, focused on developing initiatives aimed at its promotion to support the sectors of accessories, footwear and metals through the search for trends, designs, products and brands.
