Rendez-Vous with Maria Sole Ferragamo

Defining wearable architecture

On Tuesday, February 4th, Maria Sole Ferragamo, architect, designer and maker at heart, will talk openly to #PolimodaPeople during her guest lecture.

Maria Sole Ferragamo grew up between the sunkissed arms of Tuscany's beloved leather factories. At 12-years-old, she was already working on her craft, making earrings out of leather scraps.

After completing an architecture degree at Politecnico in Milan, Ferragamo studied jewelry design at Central Saint Martins in London. Born with ambition and determined to bring her passion to life, Maria Sole launched her first brand, So-Le studio, inspired by the idea of wearable architecture.

By upcycling high quality leftovers, the young maker creates one-of-a-kind objects and reminds us about the importance of authenticity and sustainability.
