Course
Fashion Design Management is a new program devised to train designers who double as entrepreneurs. This figure is able to write their own destiny by creating a collection with a business model and a communication plan in mind.
Endowed with strategic vision, complete knowledge of production techniques and a scientific approach to the market, this designer creates an imposing brand name with real media impact, cutting through the complexity of today’s fashion system.
There is visible vertical progress among the students, from learning the basics in the first year to gaining the ability to create, communicate and merchandise a real collection in the third year, giving students the possibility to create their own brand to be part of a new concept fashion show.
Courses are run by teachers from the industry with hands-on materials. Fashion Design Management students also have access to monthly guest lectures taught by visionaries, an immense library and computer and design labs. During the three-year program, intensive review sessions with auditors from the industry are organized for the students.Â
Each academic year includes a total of 600 hours of instructional activities and grants 60 Polimoda credits. The acquisition of credits is contingent upon passing individual subjects.
The course is completed with an internship in a fashion company at the end of the third year.Â

Requirements
In order to be eligible for this course, you will need to be selected after the admission process.
During the application you are required to upload a Portfolio including an overview of your previous work with samples and photos.
Basic requirements are:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) with motivation letter
- English language proficiency
- Secondary school (high school) diploma or equivalent

Based on the student’s personal abilities and acquired skills, the course qualifies graduates for jobs in fashion design and management as Creative Directors, Fashion Designers, Fashion Coordinators, Collection Managers, Design Managers, Trend Forecasters, Merchandisers, Product Managers, as well as for a career heading up new industry-driven designer brands with an entrepreneurial attitude.
