The curriculum includes: fashion trend forecasting, contemporary fashion, fashion leadership, public speaking, one-on-one portfolio review sessions and personal mentorship by Keanan Duffty. During the course, students will discuss the balance between commerce and creativity through merchandising and sales as well as visual presentation and styling.
The course also includes: a visit to a manufacturer, Gucci Garden or Ferragamo Museum; an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; a portfolio and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation for the fashion business or for a course of study that may continue with a 9-month master program in both Fashion Business and Fashion Design.

Keanan Duffty is an award-winning British fashion designer, educator and author of ‘Rebel, Rebel Anti-Style’ (Rizzoli, 2009). As a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Duffty has worked as Design Director for Aveda, Ben Sherman, Dr. Martens, Gola, Gwen Stefani's LAMB, Reebok, Moods of Norway, and John Varvatos Star USA. In 2007, Duffty collaborated with David Bowie to create a collection for Target, and in 2016 was the curator of the 2016 CFDA Awards’ tribute to Bowie, featuring Tilda Swinton. Duffty also created New York University’s Master of Science program in Fashion Business.
