Course

Fashion trend forecasting is an art that involves analyzing society through personal associations in order to predict concepts, colors, fabrics, textures, materials and prints that will be presented by fashion brands in their newest collections.

The short course in Fashion Trend Forecasting will provide students with an understanding of how to perform trend research in order to predict and indicate future trends for the fashion industry, researching the real meaning of fashion and its influence on society and its consumers.

The overall goal of this course is to shape fashion trend forecasters who are able to indicate fashion trends by performing in-depth research that comes to life as a mix of data analysis and personal associations towards society.

Through a well-organized research process, students will learn how to examine society and its surroundings. Students will also gain insight into recognizing fashion trends and applying them to specific brands as well as products.
