Through the involvement of experts and companies in the peculiar field, the course aims to give a professional insight in the growing sector of kidswear fashion, now considered a separate market in its own right. Colors, trends and materials will be mixed with fun and sophistication to design a mini kids collection.
The course syllabus will include among other classes: Kidswear design basis; Patternmaking basics; Consumer Behaviour; Trend Forecasting and Marketing.
The course also includes: an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study. The whole working process and final project will be documented in a design book, adding value to the portfolio of any fashion designer.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year undergraduate program in Fashion Design, the 3-year undergraduate in Fashion Technology or the 9-month master programs in Fashion Design or Collection Design.
