Fashion Advertising & New Media is a launching point for professional figures linked to fashion advertising and the worlds of communications and new media. The course offers basic theory and practice for becoming an accounts manager, copywriter, art director or strategic planner, and familiarises with the essentials of creative writing, offline and online brand image management, next-generation technologies and social networks, budgets, briefs and communications strategies.

The curriculum includes: the sociology of the imaginary; fashion writing; strategic planning; fashion advertising; fashion art direction and creative direction; press to impress; copywriting; digital media; media buying; fashion accounting.

The course also includes: a visit to the Gucci Garden or Ferragamo Museum; an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study.

Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year undergraduate programs in Fashion Art Direction or Fashion Marketing & Communications or with the 9-month master program in Fashion Marketing & Communications.
