The curriculum includes: an exploration of consumer behavior in fashion design – from composition to analysis and editing techniques – to the creation of a silhouette. The course is a short yet extensive journey into the creative stage: research of concept, mood board, color and textile, social analysis and academical sketches. The design and development of a capsule collection, coherent with an actual target of consumers, will be expressed through a comprehensive project.
This e-learning course focuses on the creation of RTW and Knit for men and women. Students are encouraged to boost their personal aesthetic, vision and design philosophy to achieve an individual perspective in the fashion industry.
Lessons will be interactive online face-to-face teacher meetings, dedicated to both theory and practical sessions. The course also includes: a personal project and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study. The whole working process and final project will be documented in a design book, adding value to the portfolio of any fashion designer.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year Undergraduate in Fashion Design, the 2-year Associate in Design Management, or the 9-month Master in Fashion Design or Collection Design.
