The Collection Merchandising e-learning course is entirely focused on providing tailored knowledge and know-how in the fashion retail sector, focusing on Fashion Merchandising and its dominant role within the contemporary fashion panorama and amongst top-notch maisons. Students will analyze the retail supply chain, trade fairs, ready-to-wear and couture fashion shows, keeping an eye on trends, marketing, sales, seasonal planning, production methods as well as buying and merchandising techniques in order to achieve profitable goals.

The course hones in on specific topics in Fashion Merchandising and Collection Development, helping students and professionals develop important skills they can add to their CV and demonstrate bravery and curiosity in a new fashion field. The completion of this course is the perfect start to exploring the fashion system from a privileged entrance.

Lessons will be all interactive online face-to-face teacher meetings. The course also includes an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study. The whole working process will be documented in a merchandising plan project, adding value to the portfolio of any fashion and digital merchandiser.

Participation in this course also offers an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with an Undergraduate in Fashion Merchandising, an Undergraduate in Fashion Business or a 9-month Master in Fashion Merchandising & Buying.

Montreal native Caroline Issa is CEO and fashion director of London-based quarterly title Tank and editor of online magazine In 2015, she launched a line of ready-to-wear essentials with Nordstrom as well as a capsule collection for Label/Mix and a jewelry collaboration collection with Monica Vinader in 2019. She has landed brand collaborations with the likes of Prada, LK Bennett, Hugo Boss, La Mer and Cartier. In 2004, Issa founded Tank Form within TANK, a creative agency that has devised advertising campaigns for brands such as Mulberry, Silhouette, Debeers and Monica Vinader. In 2007, she launched — a digital magazine — and a print edition featuring Fashion Scan. She worked as an external examiner for Central Saint Martin's MA journalism and fashion promotion courses and can be found on numerous juries for fashion awards such as Hyères Festival and the Arles Photography Festival.
