Every year, ISKO launches their Denim Talent Awards to celebrate the creativity and innovation of young fashion design and marketing students, and this year two Polimoda students, Sara Armellin and Izadora Verlic, have made it to the final of the ISKO I-SKOOL™ Denim Design Award.
Currently in their third year of Fashion Design, Sara and Izadora were selected amongst the 16 finalists from around the world, based on their proposals along the theme of the awards, Genderful, ‘a celebration of the new and inclusive ways to conceive of the multiplicity of modes of self-expression.’ They will present their works at the final event in July of this year.
ISKO™ is the world’s number one producer of premium denim, and their I-Skool Denim Talent Awards focus on the future of the industry. You may remember that last year, Polimoda student Farah Wali was in fact the Winner of the Avery Dennison RBIS Award at the I-Skool Denim Talent Awards. Fingers crossed for Sara Armellin and Izadora Verlic for this year!
