On the occasion of Pitti Fragranze #14 and in collaboration with Olfattorio, Polimoda presents a new guest lecture with Alexander Vreeland.
Alexander Vreeland has an established career in luxury goods management with a specialty in communications, marketing and sales, having worked at Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani. His name also holds weight in the fashion world, as Alexander is the grandson of the late Diana Vreeland. Considered one of the most influential fashion editors in the history of the industry, Mrs Vreeland completely transformed the fashion world with her imagination, determination and playful soul. During her 26 years at Harper’s Bazaar, almost 10 years at American Vogue, and 16 years at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Diana Vreeland mesmerised the world, and now her grandson is continuing her legacy. Since 2009 Alexander has been president of the Diana Vreeland estate, and in 2014, launched Diana Vreeland Parfums. With names like Vivaciously Bold, Perfectly Marvelous, and Devastatingly Chic, the fragrances embody the fun and fearless personality of Mrs Vreeland.
Whilst places are limited, this event is open to the public by registration only.
