Are you already a Polimoda's student and you still have difficulty understanding your classes?
Every year, students from all over the world come to Polimoda to learn more about the world of fashion. Our programmes provide an exceptional opportunity to combine high quality learning with unforgettable experience in Florence where students are able to explore and enjoy exposure to Italian art, fashion and history. Polimoda offers an Intensive Italian Course, whose aim is to prepare foreign students to learn specific linguistic skills related to fashion, design and marketing and face Polimoda's admission exam.
The edition will be divided in two levels:
a) First level: for those who do not speak any Italian.
b) Intermediate-level: for those who already have some knowledge of Italian and would like to acquire some specific vocabulary related to fashion, design and marketing.
Therefore, based on your knowledge of the Italian language, you may start in June and take a two months course, otherwise you can attend only the July program (intermediate level)
If the class wish to continue the training, there is the possibility to attend an high level (in September).
The course will be held from Monday through Friday, 2 hours per day after lunch, structured as follows:
Grammar, fashion, design and marketing terms,
Conversation, reading and writing
At the end of the course, there will be a simulation of the Polimoda's admission exam so that you can take it more easily.
eligibility
Beginners level: for those who do not speak any Italian. Intermediate-level: for those who already have some knowledge of Italian and would like to acquire some specific vocabulary related to fashion, design and marketing.
admission
The course is for a limited number of students in order to guarantee the quality of the training. If you are not a beginners and you want to enter directly in the intermediate level, you have to send us some certification of you actual preparation in Italian language.
course duration
2 hours per day after lunch, from Monday till Friday.
