Every year, students from all over the world come to Polimoda to learn more about the world of fashion. Our programmes provide an exceptional opportunity to combine high quality learning with unforgettable experience in Florence where students are able to explore and enjoy exposure to Italian art, fashion and history. Polimoda offers an Intensive Italian Course, whose aim is to prepare foreign students to learn specific linguistic skills related to fashion, design and marketing and face Polimoda's admission exam.
The edition will be divided in two levels:
a) First level: for those who do not speak any Italian. This class will start in June;
b) Intermediate-level: for those who already have some knowledge of Italian and would like to acquire some specific vocabulary related to fashion, design and marketing. This class will start in July.
Therefore, based on your knowledge of the Italian language, you may start in June and take a two months course, otherwise you can attend only the July program (intermediate level)
If the class wish to continue the training, there is the possibility to attend an high level (in September).
The course will be held from Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day, structured as follows:
9am – 11am Grammar, fashion, design and marketing terms
11am - 1pm Conversation, reading and writing
One day a week the lesson will take place outdoor: Florence tour (museums, historical buildings etc) , Ferragamo museum , Visits around Tuscany
At the end of the course, there will be a simulation of the Polimoda's admission exam so that you can take it more easily.

admission
The course is for a limited number of students in order to guarantee the quality of the training. If you are not a beginners and you want to enter directly in the intermediate level, you have to send us some certification of you actual preparation in Italian language.

tuition fees
The tuition fee for the intensive Italian course is € 2.200* for two months 1.780 euro* in Advance Booking: already know what you want to do? If your mind is made up, the "advance booking" formula is the thing for you! If you pay the whole fee before the 31st of January 2010, you’ll get an unbeatable discount. This offer cannot be used alongside other promotions. For one month the fee is of € 1.100*€ 890* in advance Booking. * If the course will not start, we will refund you the entire fee except for 50 euro as the admission tax.
registration e deadline
You can enrol yourself directly on-line sending the ENROLLMENT APPLICATION. The deadline for enrolment is 30th of March 2010.
