Patch pocket with buttoned flap and bellows pleat in the centre, that is, a vertical, unpressed pleat which expands to accommodate articles placed in the pocket. Worn especially in Norfolkjackets of the 1890s onwards.

Context:
Patch pockets are the most casual in style, and should only be worn on single-breasted country suits. They are better worn on sport jackets, to which pleated and bellows pockets are restricted. These pockets were designed to swell with the additional depth of gun cartridges, and should not be worn on suits.
