Deservedly, design duo Basso & Brooke won the £100,000 award. The costumes were like watching an enchanted fairy tale being played out in front of us. There were silky balloon sleeveblouses and blouson jackets, with emphasised shoulders all beautifully printed art nouveau style with colourful winding pansies, sweet peas and filigree patterns.
