A small piece of paper or plastic with information about the garment on it, such as trademark, number of the article, history of the firm, etc. It is only partially fixed to the garment thanks to a plastic thread or a cotton/polyester drawcord, which is then attached to the garment with a safety pin. The plastic thread is usually attached to a label and never directly to the garment, because it could damage the fabric.
