Countable
Definition:  Fold of fabric usually pressed flat but sometimes left unpressed. When used in a skirt, blouse or dress, it is sometimes stitched down at the top of the garment to make it hang better. In polyester and nylon fabrics, pleats may be put in permanently with a heat-setting process.
