Polimoda International Institute of Design and Marketing holds high-quality specialized courses in the design, production, sales and marketing sectors. Polimoda's aim is to create a new close collaboration between the worlds of academics and industry, as well as to provide a constant perspective of the international scene.
Established in 1986, it was created and financed by the Comune of Florence and Prato and trade associations in collaboration with the Fashion Institute of Technology of the New York State University. Polimoda provides students with a high-quality professional training in tune with the needs of industry.
Polimoda is a member of IFFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes) and carries out professional training courses in collaboration with the Region of Tuscany, the Provinces of Florence and Prato and with subsidies from the European Union.
