MONIA
SACCHETTA
Pattern Maker
Cipriani Srl
for Ermanno Scervino
"I'm truly satisfied with
what I am doing now, which is of course thanks to the
professional training I got at school and my own commitment!
I graduated in Pattern Making in 2001 and now I'm a pattern
maker for Ermanno Scervino and I have already had the
pleasure of participating in the creation of three lines.
I'm at the beginning of my career, but I think that, with
hard work and grit, I will manage to grow professionally

ANTON GIULIO
GRANDE
Stylist and Founder
Anton Giulio Grande Srl
"I attended Polimoda's Fashion Design program and
I graduated in 1992. During the three years of the program,
the instructors were always professional, the courses
well organized, the teaching methods excellent, especially
the subjects of draping and production, which have turned
out to be very useful in my career as a tailor.
I have applied these methods in my atelier with my employees,
both for garments for fashion shows and for clients.
The results of personal and professional success speak
for themselves

"I graduated from Polimoda's Footwear Pattern Making
program in 2001.
I had taken several courses in the shoe sector, but
at Polimoda I ended the student phase of my life and
entered the world of work.
My life as it is now gives my creativity and emotional
charge the outlet I need.
Having responsabiliy is risky, but it's also fascinating
and stimulating. The satisfaction of walking by a shop
window and seeing what you actually created, rather
than flipping through a magazine is a one-of-a-kind
emotion - pure magic..."

"I graduated from Design
and Knitwear in 1998. As well as having the chance to
study Design, Communication, Marketing and Management,
Polimoda gives you up-close contact with the reality
of Italian fashion industry.
If you have an idea of what you future abilities will
be, Polimoda will give you a 100% support in developing
you.
When I began my first job, I was already able to apply
100% of what I had learned during three years of studies.

Fashion Designer

Committment, consistency, sacrifice.
This is what Polimoda taught me. I graduated from the
Menswear program in 1999. I learned to rely on my own
efforts, on myself and to improve my weak points. I
didn't have an "artistic C.V.," but a scientific
and humanistic background. For some it was a drawback,
but for Mrs. Appignani (former Director of Polimoda)
it was just one of many facets, a starting point for
the pursuit of dreams and ideals...
The school pushed me to always do my best. I could use
the fantastic library and the cutting-edge facilities
that many would envy.
Now, sitting at my desk, I thank all of those who during
the two years of the program taught me that working
in the world of fashion is passion, dedication...and
irony!"

MONIA CHIESURA
Assistant Pattern Maker
B.V.M. Spa Bologna
Enrolling in Polimoda gave me
the chance to be part of the fascinating world of fashion.
The pattern making program I graduated from in 2000
satisfied all of my expectations. It was challenging
and reflected the demands of the companies working in
this sector.
And it was the end-of-the-program internship that got
me the job in the company I am working for now and in
which I have had the opportunity to apply everything
I learned..."
