In just one academic year, 2006/2007, Polimoda placed 267 interns in 130 firms.

In order to enter the internship program, perspective interns have an interview with their Head of Department, who assesses their preparation and motivation. Other elements taken into consideration are their attendance record, their grade point average and the documentation required by the students' regulations. On the basis of merit, the Head of Department proceeds then to direct students to the kind of firms they can get in contact with for their period of internship.

We periodically carry out a survey on our graduates' occupational outcomes in order to monitor our own capacity to be to the job market's requirements and to the ever-changing needs of the fashion sector's business.

The demand on the part of the firms of specialized professionals is so high that besides the permanent service offered by our Internship and Job Opportunities Office - which organizes graduates' internships and matches candidates and positions offered by various firms - Polimoda is in the process of setting up the service "Job Opportunities and Internships On-Line". Thanks to it, our graduates will be able to enter and update their curriculum on-line and to browse and select job offers published on-line by Polimoda, which will connect candidates and firms.
