The year 2003 is a year
full of newness for the Polimoda fashion show which was held on 6
June at the Stazione Leopolda. The preparation involved 88 students:
the future designers along with the future managers transformed the
event into a real moment of communication for the school.
What was especially innovative was the total creative freedom given
to the young designers, who were no longer placed with a "tutor",
well-known fashion designers. In the last two years the school had
aimed for a product which was supposed to have above all saleable
characteristics, whereas this year greater importance was given to
creativity and entrepreneurship.
The marketing students also gave a fundamental contribution: not only
did they directly take care of the concept of the show, but also of
the exhibition of the garments at the end.
