  FASHION TRENDS
Aims

The course intends to provide the indispensable methods and theories for researching and presenting fashion trends. The participants will learn to put together a trends book to complete their portfolios.                      

 
 
Study Plans

The concept of fashion trend, customs and economics: cultural phenomena and production strategies. How to plan a product in relation to current trends.
From the colour to the fabric. From the fabric to the shapes. The target concept in relation to fashion trends.
Singling out the topics behind trends. Tests, discussions and hands-on research.
Organising teamwork. Coordinating colour charts, materials, fashion plates.

At the end of the course the various teams compare their experiences.

Enrolment is open to High-School graduates.

 

Admission

  
Admissions are limited to guarantee the high quality of Polimoda. Cv is requested.

Course duration 2 weeks
from 14 to 25 July 2008
4 hours per day  from Monday till Friday

950 euros + 90 euros  admission fee (40 euros refunded if the course will not start)
