This highly specialised course features a major focus on analysis, research and practice underpinned by constant planning. The aim is to train professional figures who are capable of addressing the main issues faced by companies in the fashion sector, both in Italy and abroad, that intend to enter the international markets.
Students are trained to become expert in studying, analysing and understanding the potential present in the emerging markets, backed by specific knowledge of the fashion sector and the fashion product, the techniques of international marketing and the exploration of the most relevant local cultures (Russia " China " Japan " Arab countries etc.).

BASIC MODULE:
1. A specific knowledge of the fashion system and the fashion product, of the materials, production systems and the international development characterising the sector;
2. In-depth study of the techniques of international marketing management, comprising an understanding of the markets, the research systems and brand analysis strategies, also based on the appraisal and analysis of actual case studies;
3. Exploration of the most relevant local cultures (Russia, China), comprising study of the main linguistic, cultural, traditional and social aspects of these markets, their relations with fashion, with the companies operating in the sector and with the world of work;
4. Mastery of IT tools and relational marketing techniques.
POSSIBLE FIELDS OF SPECIALISATION:
1. FASHION MANAGEMENT
The acquisition of technical skills for carrying out trend analyses and understanding the psychological mechanisms governing shopping, brands and loyalty-building, the use of retail structures geared to the specific features of the market and an understanding of the differences generated by the delocalisation of the Italian product abroad. The aim is to train professional figures capable of managing aspects of Buying, Retail, Merchandising and Communication.
2. FASHION BUSINESS
The acquisition of technical skills for the economic management of the fashion enterprise, globalisation, warehouse management, supply and restocking, financial aspects of branding, costs and marketing budgets. The approach of this study plan is high-end economic, with the aim being to train dynamic, modern, groundbreaking figures capable of successfully addressing the most topical issues (Assistant Manager Marketing " Brand " Production areas / Finance Raiser and Controller).
Both training courses are completed by the presentation of an interdisciplinary work project.

International Fashion Business; Marketing & Management; International Strategy; History of Contemporary Fashion and International Development; Textile Materials and Production; Fashion Production System; Marketing Research and Applied Market Surveys; Relational Techniques; IT Tools (Excel " Photoshop etc.); Chinese Language and Culture; Russian Language and Culture; International Trade Fairs and Shows; Focus on Markets (Russia " China " Japan " Arab Countries etc.).
SPECIALISATION MODULE FASHION MANAGEMENT (3 months)
Social and Fashion Psychology; Research and Trends; Product Development; Product Management; International Retail & Buying; Visual Merchandising; International Communication; CRM; Project work & Presentation.
SPECIALISATION MODULE FASHION BUSINESS (3 months)
International Supply Chain; Business Organisation and Management; Economic Management of the Fashion Enterprise; Financial Aspects of Branding; Asset Structure; Budget & Business Planning; Project Work & Presentation.

eligibility
The course is aimed at graduates or undergraduates with a keen interest in studying international markets in terms of both sales and production and of management and economics. The target students would also be potentially interested in work experience and/or internships in companies with foreign branches. An excellent command of written and spoken English is required, and preference may be given to candidates with knowledge of a second language.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of:
• submission of curriculum vitae;
• aptitude test;
• English test;
• interview for motivational assessment.

Students completing the course will be highly-qualified professionals, capable of working abroad and covering roles ranging from the areas of management, retail, production and distribution to the economic-financial sphere, communication and marketing development.
