The aim of this Master is to train highly qualified professionals with specific knowledge of the fashion product, of the trends, fabrics, materials and production processes, in addition to managerial, organisational and relational skills, capable of combining creativity and innovation with administrative and analytical expertise.

BASIC MODULE:
1. Cultural and critical analysis of the fashion system/sector, definition of the product from the study of trend research systems to the development of the product and/or the collection;
2. Specific knowledge of fibres, yarns, fabrics, materials and product management;
3. In-depth study of both strategic and operational marketing, mastery of skills in consumer psychology and analytic and technical expertise, with particular focus on the development of innovative managerial skills;
4. Activities aimed at the development of relational skills, human resources management and mastery of IT tools.
POSSIBLE FIELDS OF SPECIALISATION:
• BUYING MANAGEMENT
Acquisition of know-how covering purchasing techniques, import-export control, and the tangible and intangible variables that distinguish the identity of one brand over competitor brands on the market, and development of the capacity to adjust, rationalise and economise the right offer and assortment plan. The training course schedules in-depth study of quality control, analytical skills, and price/quality parameters in relation to the sales outlet and the reference target.
• RETAIL MANAGEMENT
The sales outlet is the crucial meeting point between the brand and the consumer, and is of strategic importance to fashion companies. The aim is to train professional figures with a high level of preparation, and with managerial and organisational skills who are qualified to occupy positions in the retail field, with potential career developments in sales and corporate marketing. The training course offers students the chance to acquire an all-round knowledge of the tools and methods for the economic, financial and IT-related management of the retail outlet, consumers’ buying behaviour, customer relations and the techniques of customer relations management.
• VISUAL MERCHANDISING
The aim of this specialisation is the training of image consultants, highly specialised figures that are in great demand in all the sectors of fashion – ranging from the shop window to the layout of the store – capable of bringing together creativity, visual merchandising and unconventional marketing strategies. The course also makes it possible to master all the know-how, methods and tools of visual merchandising, the rational organisation of the sales area and the psychology applied to the display.
All training courses are completed by the presentation of an interdisciplinary work project.

eligibility
The Master is aimed at graduates (or equivalent), undergraduates and professionals with at least 2/3 years experience in the sector. A knowledge of English at intermediate level is required.
