The aim of the masters is to provide a wide-ranging vision of the fashion system, a complete panorama of communication in general and in particular of all those aspects concerning the complex system of visual perception and image representation using an array of tools and media.
It is a highly specialised course with an innovative approach to training dealing with technology, solutions and practical experimentation in the following sectors: web, multimedia, advertising and product graphics, publishing graphics, trademarks and logos, promotional visual communication for fashion sales outlets and events

fashion system:
fashion and costume, evolution and trends; knowledge of the fashion system, the main companies and how they work.
marketing principles:
the role of marketing in business, how to create and develop markets using strategic, tactical and operative marketing.
target analysis:
fundamental tools for understanding the consumer’s motives, needs, expectations and desires in order to create future fashion proposals.
Communication Models and Techniques: the most effective communication techniques and models in the field of fashion marketing.
advertising & media:
advertising strategies in relation to the type of product and the advertising media used; creating the message from the brief to the campaign.
visual perception:
basic knowledge of perception theory, seeing and thinking, kind and meaning of light, colour and vision, to communicate a particular perception in images.Web Design: designing and creating dynamic and static web sites, e-commerce sites, on-line shops, web ads and videos, advertising banners and web portals.
multimedia design:
designing and creating contents for multimedia, company and product presentations.
advertising graphics:
designing and creating brochures, leaflets, advertising posters and flyers;
fair stand layouts, graphics for events, photographic still lifes, photographic adaptation.
publishing graphics:
creating a publication, fashion magazine, from designing the cover page to graphics and page setting.
corporate identity:
studying the corporate brand, positioning and history, designing trademarks, logos, studying graphics, colours and fonts.
packaging design:
designing paper, plastic and cosmetic packaging.
CAD – Photoshop – Illustrator and other technological and operative media and/or know-how
Case Study and Project work: analysis of the different strategies of visual communication of the fashion company. Exercises and presentation of a project work.

eligibility
The masters is aimed at graduates, final-year university students (or equivalent) and professional figures with at least 2/3 years’ experience in the communication, design, advertising graphics and graphics sector in general
admissions
The course is for a limited number of students. For admission onto the course, the selection process consists of:
- psychological test
- practical test
- motivational interview.
