The Master course aims to produce consultants in image creation, highly specialised professionals who are much requested in all fashion sectors, ranging from the shop window to layout of the store, capable of combining creativity and strategies for visual marketing.

In addition to providing an overview of the fashion system and products available, the course includes the study of strategic operative marketing, with particular reference to retail marketing, the sociology of consumerism and of communication techniques. The student will also acquire an understanding of visual sales and its means and methods, the rational organization of the sales area and of psychology applied to display techniques.

ELEGIBILITY

The Master is open to graduates (or equivalent), final year students and professionals with at least 2/3 years experience in the retail sector.

HOW TO APPLY

The course is open to a limited number of participants. The selection procedure for admission consists of an aptitude test, practical exam and interview.

Fashion Marketing & Visual Merchandising
Strategic and operative marketing;
Viral, environmental, tribal and guerilla marketing;

Sales point communication and promotion;
Consumer Psychology;
Fashion Retail; Visual Merchandising;
Architecture and Design;
Art Direction: creation and planning of display systems and contexts in keeping with both product strategy and the commercial strategy of the sales point; the importance of layout, types of display, shop atmosphere.

Case study and project work
Analyses of various visual merchandising policies of companies in the fashion sector. Practical exercises with software applications and final presentation of project work.
