The purpose of the course is to produce highly qualified professionals with specific knowledge of fashion products, buying techniques, management and import-export trade, capable of combining innovative, organizational and analytical skills.

The course will produce professionals who can work in the following fields: product development (in close collaboration with the styling office); buying area (textiles, accessories or finished product); collaboration with the merchandising sector.

Employment is within fashion companies, in large buying and/or distribution centres, or in buying offices.

 

COURSE|STUDY|PLAN

Contemporary Fashion and Fashion Business, Psychology of Communications and Sales Relations, Organizational, Communicative and Interpersonal Techniques, Strategic, Operative and International Marketing, Buying & Retail Management, Fibres – Yarns – Textiles, Trend Research, Fashion Product Knowledge and Development, Economic and Human Resources Management, Information Technology, International Fairs and Shows, Specialized English.

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Class lessons, project work, laboratory work, seminars with professionals from the sector, visits to companies/ buying offices, visits to sector fairs and shows, final presentation: project work and marketing plan.

INFORMATION|ABOUT|COURSE

ELIGIBILITY

The Master is open to graduates (or equivalent), final year students and professionals with at least 2/3 years experience in the sector.
Knowledge of English at intermediate level is required.

HOW TO APPLY

The entrance exam consists of:

• Written aptitude test
• Analysis of a publicity campaign
• Interview

The course is open to a limited number of participants.
