If you’re close to graduating and you want to specialise in fashion marketing, don’t miss this opportunity!
On Tuesday 22 June in Villa Favard, with the help of some of its top teachers Polimoda is organising a half-day of full immersion in the world of fashion marketing. How is fashion communicated? What are the tools of effective communication? How can we reach foreign markets and what are the areas of development for the future of the fashion sector?
The full immersion session is devoted to the Polimoda master degrees in fashion marketing and communication that have been conceived to respond in full to these questions, which begin in October 2012. These are three highly specialised itineraries, pivoting on the formula of six months plus three of specialisation, encapsulating all Polimoda’s multiyear experience in fashion marketing, management and communication:
• Fashion Communication, with specialisations in Visual & New Media or Events Organisation
• Fashion Merchandising, with specialisations in Buying Management, Retail Management or Visual Merchandising
• International Fashion Marketing, with specialisations in Fashion Business or Fashion Management
The Head of the Polimoda Marketing Department and the rest of our personnel are at disposal for individual interviews to help guide you in the choice of the right course.
You will also have the chance to visit the new premises in Villa Favard, the principal location for the Polimoda master courses.

POLIMODATALENT Erik Bjerkesjo @Mauro Grifoni meets New Designers, Milan Design Week 2012

MAURO GRIFONI MEETS NEW DESIGNERS.
Make room for talent and creative energy! On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, Mauro Grifoni's flagship store at 17 Via Santo Spirito will concurrently host three projects on its three floors. The projects all differ greatly from each other but they are all concerned with backing new emerging designers. As well as this event there will also be one by Salottobuono: an installation, "Instructions on how to climb a staircase", which can be visited in Corridor and Stairs by Mauro Grifoni, the new cultural space of this brand from Vicenza.
POLIMODA TALENT_Erïk Bjerkesjö
The first talented youngster to be launched by POLIMODA TALENT, Polimoda's new creative workshop, is Erïk Bjerkesjö. Originally from Stockholm, he is a designer and the possessor of a masters degree in Footwear and Accessories Design. Erïk is presenting a range of men's shoes, produced by expert Tuscan artisans, which defines a new concept of male elegance.

With the new edition of the Polimoda Fashion Week and Pitti Uomo, in January 2012 a new “nursery” of talents comes to birth: POLIMODA TALENTS. A launching-pad, comprising shows, installations, talks, workshops and a location of outstanding artistic value devoted to the former Polimoda students, youngsters with a passionate interest in design, marketing and communication, who present their vision of the future of fashion. In the new premises of Villa Favard, in a beautiful and ancient architectural complex, each semester the Director Linda Loppa and her team will select a young talent from among the most deserving former students to display the collections, innovative marketing concepts and communication projects of tomorrow.
The first talent to be presented by POLIMODA TALENTS is Erïk Bjerkesjö, a young designer, originally from Stockholm and former student on the Master in Footwear and Accessories Design (2009-2010); after graduating successfully from POLIMODA, the designer launched his own collection of clothing and accessories, marked by a minimal and contemporary aesthetic typical of the Swedish style. Erïk Bjerkesjö presents a range of men’s footwear produced by expert Tuscan craftsmen and characterised by a state-of-the-art branded sole.
