ART. 13 LAW N. 196/2003

Dear customer,

the following privacy policy, according to article n.13, law n. 196/2003 will be applied by Polimoda when in possession of your private data, only for the school activity as specified below:

1. Purpose of data processing

the processing of personal data is aimed only at carrying out Polimoda activities such as:

• Accounting, financial situations, salaries and contributions, financial acts and property taxes;
• Carrying out of work relationships;
• Services for customers and/or executions of contractual agreements;
• Operational, managerial or didactic needs;
• Information, communication and promotion of Polimoda activities through newsletters, emails, ordinary mail or other means;
• Elaboration of statistic and market researches;
• Carrying out of obligations in accordance with law.

2. Procedure for processing data.

a) Data processing is carried out through a set of operations as indicated by art. 4 comma 1 lett. a) of T.U.: gathering, registration, organization, storing, consulting, elaboration, changing, selection, isolating, comparing, using, interconnection, blocking, communication, deleting and destroying of data.

b) operations can be carried out with or without electronic or automated instruments.

c) Data processing is carried out by person/people in charge of the processing.

3. Conferring data.

Conferring personal data, either common or sensitive, can be direct or through email, internet, ordinary mail or other and it’s necessary for carrying out all the activities listed in point n. 1.

4. Refusal of conferring data.

If customer refuses to confer private data, school could not be able to perform activities listed in point n. 1

5. Communication of data.

Personal data will be available to Polimoda employees in charge of data processing and could be communicated for purposes listed in point n. 1 to all those individuals who need them in order to perform activities listed in point n. 1. A detailed list of people in charge of data processing and other people handling data will be provided by Polimoda upon request.

6. Disclosure of data.

Personal data will not be disclosed to neither private or public individuals, except for all those activities listed in point n. 1; however they could be disclosed in collective and anonymous form.

7. Transferring data abroad.

Personal data could be transferred towards countries of the European Union and other countries, for purposes listed in point n. 1.

8. Rights of customers.

Art. 7 of T.U., confers customers some specific rights as it follows:

• Obtaining confirmation of existence of one own’s private data and its availability to customer;
• Obtaining knowledge of origin of data, of purposes and procedures of data processing, of the logic applied to processing through electronic instruments and of the customer identification data.
• Obtaining update, rectification and implementation of data, its cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data in case of violation of law;
• Denying, totally or partially one’s own data processing for legitimate reasons.

9. Processing holder.

Processing holder is Polimoda, Istituto Internazionale Fashion Design & Marketing, with headquarters on via Pisana, 77 – 50143 Firenze (FI) Italy.
