Polimoda International Institute of Fashion Design & Marketing is an Italian centre of excellence, recognized worldwide for its high quality, fashion-oriented, didactic offer ranging from Design & Marketing to Management and Communication, always in close relation to the business world.
Polimoda started in 1986 as a joint project co-financed by the cities of Florence and Prato, along with entrepreneurial associations and the collaboration of Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York.
Polimoda provides students with high-quality professional training, always in sync with the needs of Fashion Company.
Polimoda is also a member of IFFTI (International Foundation of Fashion Technology Institutes).

Our faculty is expert in the different fields of Fashion Design, Marketing, Management, Branding, Communication, Trend Forecasting, Shoe and Pattern Design as well as research in Fashion.
The new premises of Villa Favard and its converted stables right in the heart of Florence are unique, combining historic Tuscan elegance with completely refurbished modern facilities.
The Design Laboratory in via Baldovinetti and the stables of Villa Strozzi are several prestigious, historical locations who give an extra flavor to the didactic activities.

Polimoda is aware that the fashion system is subject to many changes of taste and styles through the years and it is fully committed to updating its techno/cultural courses and faculty members and services for students and companies on a regular bases.
