The course shines a light on the increasingly relevant role of fashion jewellery when it comes to defining brand’ recognizability and the consumers’ personal style. The students will learn the ropes from professionals in the business, polishing their business and creative skills as they go through the fundamentals of the process –from ideation to visualization to prototyping.
The course will include classes on: Contemporary Jewellery History, Marketing, Fashion Jewellery, 3D graphic.
The course also includes: an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study. The whole working process and final project will be documented in a design book, adding value to the portfolio of any fashion designer.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year undergraduate program in Fashion Design, the 3-year undergraduate in Business of Fashion or the 9-month master’s program in Accessories Design.
