Fashion Cosmetics & Fragrances lays the foundations to become an expert in the growing fields of cosmetic science and perfumery. The course provides a theoretical and practical guide to the history of these traditional disciplines, the product creation chain, trend analysis, specific strategic marketing in these fields, visual presentation, packaging and online and offline communications for brands and products.
The curriculum includes: fashion consumer behaviour; production & distribution management; cosmetics history; raw materials; study of essences and sensory experience; the study of packaging development; marketing and communications for the perfume industry.
The course also includes: a visit to the Gucci and Ferragamo museums; an international guest lecture by a fashion industry expert; a personal project; and an individual interview with a senior teacher from the course to assess your potential and further opportunities to continue in this field of study.
Participation in this course is an excellent initial stage of preparation in the fashion business, a course of study that may continue with the 4-year undergraduate degree in Business of Fashion or Art Direction or the 9-month master’s degree in Luxury Business.
